There are two rounds to the application process.
Round one: apply on our website. Round two: live audition and interview on May 31 and June 1.
Artists that make it past the second round will be showcased at the very-first LASAA event in 2025.
Who can apply?
This artist call is open to all visual artists located in St. Paul and Minneapolis (ages 16+) that practice the following mediums: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture (small to medium sized), pottery, mixed-media, and textile.

LASAA (Live Action Silent Art Auction) is ran by a dedicated art committee in Minneapolis, MN. Our mission is to curate a meaningful art experience that enriches our community, supports local artists, and allows artistic expression to be accessible to all.
F.A.Q
Simple. There's two rounds to the application process. First, fill out the quick application on this page. You'll receive an acceptance or rejection letter within a few days of the application closing on May 25. The next step is you'll be asked to come to an artist audition on either May 31 or June 1, 2025.
Easels will be provided and box displays for pottery and small sculptures.
Limited works of art will be hung on walls.
The second round of the application process will be held on May 31st and June 1st at The Hennepin – Downtown Minneapolis, MN from Noon to 5 p.m.
LASAA is bigger than just art, it's about people. We want to connect with you and interview you to make sure that we're selecting not only great artists, but great people.
The second round of the application process is so that we can get to know who you are as a person and also get the opportunity to see your art in real life. There's a capacity to how much you can experience art when it's through a digital screen. We want to evaluate your work in real life.
Studio 42 Mpls (formerly Triple Kings) has a committee of eight individuals who all have tons of experience in the arts community and we are dedicated toward curating an event that truly provides not only exposure, but financial gains for artists in our community.
Kasey R., Ramsey S., and Tilyn H. have been holding silent art auctions since 2016 and now we are taking our expertise and cultivating something truly special with hopes of this event becoming a nationally recognized spotlight for artists.
Yes! Showcase your most talented works of art! The art that you use to apply can be unavailable for sale.
Any works of art that you showcase in the actual event on August 8th must be available to purchase.
