Jadyn Spann

I’m Jadyn Spann (She/Her), a Minneapolis-based artist and writer. Currently, I'm pursuing my BFA in Drawing and Painting with a major in Fine Arts and a minor in Teaching Artists at Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

My work is centered around portraiture, but I strive to experiment as much as possible. I love creating imaginative narratives and aim to tell stories through multiple mediums, exploring identity through self-portraiture and surrealism.

Although it is outside my field of study, I am also a contemporary romance writer and fiction screenplay writer, working to produce multiple projects alongside my education.

I find that my passion for art in any field stems from my love for storytelling — and the privilege to relay a narrative is one that I am extremely grateful for.
