We're giving 10 visual artists the opportunity to display one small or medium-sized artwork on an easel at our creative networking mixer on November 11, 2025 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm.
Out of the 10 selected artists, one will also be chosen to join the 30-minute panel discussion during the event (optional).
This opportunity is perfect for visual artists looking to promote their work and network in the Twin Cities with other visionaries, entrepreneurs, artists, and potentially your next biggest supporter/collector.
Who should apply?
This artist call is open to all visual artists (ages 16+) that practice the following mediums: painting, graphite/pencil drawing, photography, sculpture (small to medium sized), pottery, mixed-media, and textile.
As long as you can bring the physical artwork to the event and it can fit on an easel, you’re good to apply!

On November 11, Everyone's an Artist explores what it means to be an artist in this modern world that surrounds us. At the heart of it, every human was born to create. Whether you're a professional speaker, a training coach, or an oil painter, your passion and intentionality toward developing a skill as a profession is what we consider art.
This is an event where right-brained people and left-brained people can connect and artists can get discovered. Ultimately, we hope you gain opportunities for your art to grow and make some dollars.

First off, we totally get it — being an artist comes with plenty of expenses. We’re artists too, which is why we keep our application fee as low as possible.
Your application fees and event tickets help us cover production costs and reinvest back into what matters most — creating more dope opportunities for dope artists.
Until we’re able to secure more sponsorships or reach full sustainability through community support, we’ll be charging a small fee for applications. We appreciate your understanding and your support in helping us keep this creative movement alive.
Studio 42 Mpls is a branch of Studio Forty Two that is dedicated to curating immersive art experiences in the Twin Cities. If you're looking to further your art career, we have some cool opportunities. We're still a young company but we have some cool ideas in store.
Of course! You're responsible for the sale though. Studio Forty Two will not be middle-manning that deal.

With over 100 commissioned works and several murals throughout Minneapolis, Kasey continues to build community through collaboration, creativity, and a shared love for dope art.

We are aiming for 50 to 100 guests.
We have a max event capacity of 100.
