GENERAL INFORMATION
We are looking for 3 talented Spoken Word Artists to perform at our event, Everyone's a Critic, on April 16th. You'll each get 5 minutes to perform. The event is located at The Hennepin, downtown Minneapolis.
Tejah, owner of Respek the Mic, will be pioneering the selections for the event. She's an incredibly talented writer and curator with 5+ years of experience.
ALL APPLICATIONS (regardless of acceptance) will be added to the list of poets, writers, and spoken word artists that Tejah will continue to reach out to for opportunities within her business.

First off, we totally get it — being an artist comes with plenty of expenses. We’re artists too, which is why we keep our application fee as low as possible.
Your application fees and event tickets help us cover production costs and reinvest back into what matters most — creating more dope opportunities for dope artists.
Until we’re able to secure more sponsorships or reach full sustainability through community support, we’ll be charging a small fee for applications. We appreciate your understanding and your support in helping us keep this creative movement alive.
